My group was me, Kenan, Bre, and Kaylie. We did a squid but it was supposed to be an octopus. The head turned out funny so it looked more like a squid.

For the camo project I had Bre and Kaylie in my group. We got a paper out of the little box of used paper and painted Kaylie's hand to match the paper. We used different shades of blue, red, and yellow to match the paper that we mixed the day before. Then we painted one solid color and added stripes to make the paint look like crayons.
A flower inspired me to make this bowl. I liked the petals so I made the edge of my bowl petaly. I painted it a light purple because that seemed like a color that a flower would be. I tried to make the bottom of the bowl like a bulb of a flower. The flowers I liked were tuplips and roses and I tried to combine them.
To make this we used white modeling clay and I did a pinch pot type thing, and then attatched a little platform to the bottom. I then just kinda pinched it into the shape I wanted and when it had a lot of clay in one place I cut it off. After I made the little petal thing around the top by pinching it and shaping it into the shape I wanted. Then I took the cutting tool and cut it into an even width. After it got fired, I painted it with glaze that was a light purple, and I painted the green coat on until we ran out and when more comes in I'm going to cost the rest of it. I learned that clay is a lot more difficult than I thought. I probably would have made it smoother and less lumpy. I also would have made it a little more even. I might have picked a darker color but the firing is supposed to make it darker. I also learned the three s's. |
